Abstract

The article focuses on the latest decision of the European Court of Human Rights on abortion. According to the Court, Ireland’s legislation on abortion is within the country’s margin of appreciation, and there has been neither discrimination no breach of human rightsin the Convention. The final decision points out European consensuson the matter is not enough for rejecting Irish regulation, and further analysis of the rights in conflict should be accomplished: but the Court does not take such analysis into consideration.
