The article is devoted to three critical remarks on the conception of coherence defended by Amaya. These observations refer to: a) the alleged incompatibility between coherence and the instrumental conception of practical reason; b) the aspiration to best explanation and, finally, c) the link between coherence and epistemic responsibility.
